Our journey began in Sydney’s vibrant buzz, fueled by a shared love for food. He’s an Aussie who has spent years perfecting French baking techniques — crafting buttery croissants, delicate pastries, and crusty baguettes. She, born in Thailand with Vietnamese roots, grew up mastering Bánh Mì, fresh herbs, and balanced flavours that tell a story in every bite.
Their quirky pet rabbit, affectionately dubbed “Bad Rabbit” for nibbling herbs and sneaking dough, was a playful companion as they honed their craft. That mischievous bunny inspired not just the name, but the spirit of the café — bold, curious, and full of surprises.
We chose Paddington for its charming terraces, artistic vibe, and cozy streets — the perfect setting for our fusion of French finesse and Vietnamese vibrancy to come to life. Step inside Bad Rabbit Café and you’ll be greeted by airy white interiors, elegant Calacatta marble accents, and touches of gold that bring a hint of Parisian luxury — yet our prices remain refreshingly down to earth.
From buttery croissants to lemongrass beef or chicken Bánh Mì and fresh ricepaper rolls, Bad Rabbit is where flavours, cultures, and hearts meet — a love story told on every plate, every pastry, and every cup of coffee
